 "AGATON" is 165 km Northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur or 190 km East of Surigao City  as of PAGASA's Weather Bulletin Number TWO issued at 5:00 p.m., Friday, 17 January 2014.

 Pagasa said Agaton is expected to be in the vicinity of 80 km North of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur or 75 km East of Butuan City Saturday morning; at 50 km Southeast of Malaybalay, Bukidnon or 75 km Northwest of Davao City Sunday morning; at 130 km West of General Santos City Sunday morning.

Pagasa said in its 10:30 a.m. Friday weather bulletin that Agaton has a maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center.

Estimated rainfall amount is from 5 - 15 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Depression.

Tropical Depression "AGATON" will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over Eastern and Central Visayas.

Sea travel is risky over the seaboards of Luzon, Visayas and Caraga Region.

Super Big Crocodile in the Philippines

This is the image of the giant crocodile that was captured last Saturday in Bunawan township, Agusan del Sur Province. It was estimated to be 21-foot (6.4-meter) long and 2,370 pounds (1,075 kilograms). The crocodile killed a water buffalo last month and was suspected of having attacked a fisherman who were missing last July. It was captured by the villagers by setting a trap and about 100 people had to pull the crocodile from the creek to the clearing where it is lifted by a truck. It will be place into an ecotourism park in the southern Philippine town.
