It's raining fish in the Philippines

In the town of Loreto, Agusan del Sur residents  were surprised by the sudden fall of fish from the sky last Friday, January 13, 2012. Vice Mayor Jorge Legaspi said, "Dili ko halos katoo sa maong hitabo tungod kay halos 25 na ko katuig nanimuyo sa maong lungsod karon pa lamang nahitabo nga miulan ug isda." (I can not believe what happened because in my 25 years living here Loreto SSA, never seen this happen rain of fish.) In the evaluation of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) of the Department of Agriculture, there are three inch size fish fell. Its yellow skin with black spots. As of now BFAR still analyzes the fish to determine its class. They placed the 72 pieces of fish that they get from the roofs of the houses in an aquarium. Not yet determine what caused the sudden rain of fish but according to BFAR, may involve the heavy rain in such circumstances.

Super Big Crocodile in the Philippines

This is the image of the giant crocodile that was captured last Saturday in Bunawan township, Agusan del Sur Province. It was estimated to be 21-foot (6.4-meter) long and 2,370 pounds (1,075 kilograms). The crocodile killed a water buffalo last month and was suspected of having attacked a fisherman who were missing last July. It was captured by the villagers by setting a trap and about 100 people had to pull the crocodile from the creek to the clearing where it is lifted by a truck. It will be place into an ecotourism park in the southern Philippine town.
