UP BS Math graduated with a GWA of 1.016



A UP graduate in University of the Philippines Diliman graduated with a GWA of 1.016. His name is John Gabriel Pelias.

His general weighted average of 1.016 set a record that second only to Exequiel Sevillam who graduated with a degree in BS Commerce in 1927 with an average of 1.0.

As a UP graduate, I know it is very difficult to get a 1.0 to 2.0 grade in Math subjects. He must be very intelligent and very hardworking student.

    teacher ko po sya sa Math 17 sa UPDil. di sya terror, surprisingly. he understands what students go through with the study of mathematics. so not just super bright, super nice.

Jessica Sanchez will sing the American national anthem in Pacquiao-Bradley fight

This coming June 9, 2012 (June 10 in Philippines) the much awaited fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley will happen in Las Vegas. Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38 KOs) and Bradley (28-0, 12 KOs) are both boxing superstars in their own right. Bradley, the undefeated American World Boxing Organization (WBO) junior welterweight champion, will be challenging Pacquiao, an eight-division world champion.
