Facebook users won't have to worry anymore, because the popular social networking site has denied that it would shut down its operations come March 15.
"We didn't get the memo about shutting down, so we'll keep working away like always," Facebook said on its status posted eight hours ago.

Rumors about the supposed shutdown began spreading this weekend when an article published on the Weekly World News, a news-parody website, reported that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg had announced at a press conference: “Facebook has gotten out of control and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness."
The networking site, however, denied the news and even hinted that it plans to expand rather than shut down its operations.
"We aren't going anywhere; we're just getting started," it said.
A research by GMANews.TV indicated that there are 583.6 million Facebook users around the world, around 19 million or 3.27 percent of which are Filipinos.
