Pagasa said in its 11 a.m. Tuesday weather bulletin that Pablo has a maximum sustained winds of 160 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 195 kph.

Pagasa said Pablo is expected to be in the vicinity of 140 km Southwest of Iloilo City Wednesday morning; at 230 km West of Coron, Palawan Thursday morning; at 500 km West of Iba, Zambales Friday morning.


 Pag-asa warned residents living in low lying and mountainous areas under public storm warning signals are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Likewise, those living in coastal areas under public storm warning signals #3 and signal #2 are alerted against big waves or storm surges generated by this Typhoon.

Estimated rainfall amount is from 15 - 30 mm per hour (heavy - intense) within the 600 km diameter of the Typhoon.

Fishing boats and other sea vessels are advised not to venture out into the Seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao.

Super Big Crocodile in the Philippines

This is the image of the giant crocodile that was captured last Saturday in Bunawan township, Agusan del Sur Province. It was estimated to be 21-foot (6.4-meter) long and 2,370 pounds (1,075 kilograms). The crocodile killed a water buffalo last month and was suspected of having attacked a fisherman who were missing last July. It was captured by the villagers by setting a trap and about 100 people had to pull the crocodile from the creek to the clearing where it is lifted by a truck. It will be place into an ecotourism park in the southern Philippine town.
