KZ Tandingan - X Factor Philippines winner!

KZ Tandingan won in the first time X-Factor Philippines held in Pagcor Grand Theater in ParaƱaque City. She got the highest vote from the three grand finalist. KZ(55.45%), Gabriel Maturan(32.33) and Daddy's Home(12.90).  KZ's grand finals night piece was "Superstar" from the Carpenters.

Since from audition time I always watched this show which is hosted by KC Conception.  And seeing KZ audition and hearing her singing makes me one of her fans.  From that day I know she will make it to the top and like her to be the winner.

KZ's line "Pumunta ako dito para ipakita na hindi lamang sa mga magaganda at biritira and Philippine music industry" makes her more famous.  It inspires people that you can make it to the top with your talent even if you're not that mestiza or you can sing the highest note in the piano.

What marks KZ's performance is her confidence in singing and her style.  I think it's my first time to hear this kind of singing in the Philippine music industry.

Her perfomance from audition to their weekly battle was always consistent and was awesome.  Even the four judges Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Pelita Corales and Charice was always impressed by her singing.  I always hear their comments "Wala talaga akong makikita na mali sa performance mo KZ."

She deserves the 4 million prize and I am excited to see her perform in asap.  And I will be waiting for her first album.

The show was one of the best singing competition in Philippines.  The four judges was one of the best of Philippine singers.  And the concept of having a mentor from one of the judges was okay, I think it helps them to build a bond and improve more.  What I don't like with the concept is sometimes some judges will become biased with their talents. But I think this makes the show more exciting.

In overall the show was great and entertaining!  I will be looking forward for another X-Factor Philippines.

This is the image of the giant crocodile that was captured last Saturday in Bunawan township, Agusan del Sur Province. It was estimated to be 21-foot (6.4-meter) long and 2,370 pounds (1,075 kilograms). The crocodile killed a water buffalo last month and was suspected of having attacked a fisherman who were missing last July. It was captured by the villagers by setting a trap and about 100 people had to pull the crocodile from the creek to the clearing where it is lifted by a truck. It will be place into an ecotourism park in the southern Philippine town.
