Last Day of Voters Registration: October 31, 2012

On October 31, 2012 is the last day of voters registration. REQUIREMENTS: I. Typhoon Ofel Update: 17 storms signal in Visayas and Mindanao

17 areas in Visayas and Mindanao are under public storm signal warning for Tropical Storm Ofel Below are the list of provinces: Signal No. 2 - Southern Leyte - Dinagat Island - Surigao Provinces - Agusan Del Norte - Northern Agusan Del Sur - Camiguin Island Signal No.1 - Samar Provinces - Leyte - Biliran Island - Bohol - Cebu - Camotes Island - Negros Provinces - Siquijor Island - Rest of Agusan Del Sur - Northern Bukidnon - Misamis Oriental Pagasa said in its 5 a.m. Wednesday weather bulletin that Ofel was packing maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph as of 4 a.m. It said Ofel is expected to make a landfall in Siargao, in the vicinity of Surigao within the day. Temporary Restraining Order(TRO) for Cybercrime Law

Good news for netizens the Supreme Court orders a TRO for Cybercrime Law dated October 9, 2012.  This means that the law will be on hold and the Supreme Court will still review it's details. The Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 is one of the hot topic in the internet these days. It has criticisms and 15 groups have already filed a petitions for the revision of the law.  Most netizens are concerned on the inclusion of libel case in the internet.  People are scared that it would create E-Martial Law to the online community.  The said libel case was included by senator Sotto and it was signed by president Aquino last September 12. Good news temporarily but we will all be waiting for the final decision of the law.

KZ Tandingan - X Factor Philippines winner!

KZ Tandingan won in the first time X-Factor Philippines held in Pagcor Grand Theater in ParaƱaque City. She got the highest vote from the three grand finalist. KZ(55.45%), Gabriel Maturan(32.33) and Daddy's Home(12.90).  KZ's grand finals night piece was "Superstar" from the Carpenters. Since from audition time I always watched this show which is hosted by KC Conception.  And seeing KZ audition and hearing her singing makes me one of her fans.  From that day I know she will make it to the top and like her to be the winner. KZ's line "Pumunta ako dito para ipakita na hindi lamang sa mga magaganda at biritira and Philippine music industry" makes her more famous.  It inspires people that you can make it to the top with your talent even if you're not that mestiza or you can sing the highest note in the piano.
